On November 24, 2019, the Dallas Mavericks defeated the Houston Rockets 137-123. Perhaps one could show how Houston lacks superior defense, and their offense-minded team could use more defensive tactics. However, when Dallas has three teammates to post double-doubles and another with thirty-one points, it is time to stand up and take notice. Perhaps they have not had success in the playoffs for over half a decade, but that may change this year. Their premier scorer, Luka Doncic, posted a forty-point triple double this month, something only LeBron James ever accomplished. If they could find consistency in scoring, then they will be a formidable team come playoff time.
